How it works

Answering your phone properly by tomorrow

There is no signup form that magically knows your business. We sit down with you, build it, and you hear it before it goes anywhere near a customer.

  1. 1

    Tell us about the business

Hours, services, pricing, service area and what should never be promised. We do the writing.

  2. 2

    Point your calls at it

Keep your number. Forward everything, or only after hours, or only what nobody picks up.

  3. 3

    Go live and adjust

We test it with you, tune how it sounds, and change anything that isn't right.

What we need from you

  • Your hours, service area and the work you actually take
  • Prices or ranges you're happy for a caller to hear
  • What counts as an emergency, in your own words
  • Who gets rung when one comes in

What we do with it

  • Read your website into the agent's knowledge base
  • Write the greeting and the questions it asks
  • Set the boundaries — what it must never promise
  • Test it against the awkward calls, not the easy ones

What happens on day one

  • You keep your number and forward the calls you want covered
  • Every call is recorded, written up and sent to you
  • You listen to the first few and tell us what to change
  • Changes are live the same day, not next release

Setup is done by us, in Alberta, on a call with you — not handed to a chat widget in another time zone.

Questions we get

The things people ask before they say yes

Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number, your carrier and your handsets. You forward calls to us when you want us to answer — after hours, when nobody picks up, or all the time.
Does it claim to be a person?
Never. If someone asks, it says plainly that it's a virtual assistant for your business, then carries on helping them.
What happens with an emergency?
It stops everything else, reads out the wording you gave us, takes their details and puts them through to whoever is on call. It will not offer an appointment to someone reporting a hazard.
What if it doesn't know something?
It says so and offers a callback. It is built so it cannot invent a price, a time, or a promise on your behalf.
Will it work with my software?
Google Calendar, Outlook and Jobber connect directly. For anything else we capture the job and send it to your team, which works no matter what you run.
How long does setup take?
Usually a day. We build it, load your details, and set the forwarding up with you on a call.
Who can see my calls?
Only you and your team. Calls, transcripts and customer details are encrypted, never sold, and never shared with anyone else. We're owned and run here in Alberta.
Can I cancel?
Any time. There's no contract and no setup fee, so there's nothing to unwind — you stop at the end of the month you've paid for.

Hear it before you buy it

Call our receptionist right now and try to trip it up. It's the same system that would be answering your phone.
